About Cesar
Hey, I’m Cesar
I’m a Los Angeles-based voice actor with a naturally deep, commanding voice and a love for bringing words, characters, and stories to life.
Whether I’m delivering something grounded and conversational, stepping into a larger-than-life character, or giving a project that extra cinematic weight, I’m always looking for the same thing: a performance that feels real and fits the story being told.
For me, voiceover isn’t just about having a distinctive voice. It’s about knowing how to use it.
How It Started
I always had an itch for acting, but for a long time, I never actually pursued it. At the same time, my voice was something people constantly noticed. I’d hear everything from “you should be on the radio” to suggestions that I should try voiceover. Acting and voiceover always felt like possibilities—I just hadn’t taken that first step.
That changed during my final semester of college when I took my first acting class. I fell in love with the craft almost immediately. That class introduced me to people in the acting community and eventually led me to continue training through acting classes in both Los Angeles and Orange County.
Then COVID hit, and that momentum came to a stop.
A few years later, I started dipping my toes into voiceover. I auditioned, learned, experimented, and slowly found my way into the world of working behind the mic. But between work, jobs, and life, I never gave it the commitment I knew I wanted to.
Eventually, I reached a point where I decided it was time to go all in. Acting, storytelling, creating characters, and finding the right way to bring words off the page are things I genuinely love—and voiceover gives me the opportunity to do all of them.
Behind The Mic
Every project calls for something different, and that’s one of the things I enjoy most about voiceover. One day I might be delivering a grounded commercial read, the next I’m telling a story, stepping into a character, or bringing some serious weight to a promo.
Having a naturally deep voice gives me a distinctive sound, but I never want the voice itself to do all the work. I approach every read as an actor first—thinking about the character, the story, the audience, and what the words are actually trying to communicate.
I also love direction. Voiceover is collaborative, and I’m always willing to experiment, make adjustments, and find a different approach to get the performance where it needs to be.
At the end of the day, I want every read to sound like it belongs in the project—not like I’m simply reading words into a microphone.
Outside The Booth
When I’m not behind the mic, there’s a good chance you’ll find me watching baseball, out on a hiking trail, or planning my next trip. I try to travel a few times a year, and I’m always looking for somewhere new to explore.
Music is another big part of my life, especially old-school country and rock. Give me some Elvis, Johnny Cash, Travis Tritt, or classic rock and I’m probably happy.
I also run my own online resale business, something I’ve built and managed myself over the years. Running a business has taught me a lot about discipline, organization, communication, and holding myself accountable. When you’re responsible for everything from managing inventory and fulfilling orders to taking care of customers and keeping things moving every day, you learn pretty quickly how important it is to be reliable. Those are lessons I carry with me into voiceover, where meeting deadlines, communicating well, staying organized, and delivering what’s expected are just as important as the performance itself.
And I’m always down to check out a new spot for a drink. Whether it’s a neighborhood bar, a local brewery, or somewhere I stumble across while traveling, I enjoy finding those places that make you want to come back.
At the end of the day, I like staying busy, experiencing new things, and having a good story to tell afterward. Maybe that’s part of why I was drawn to storytelling in the first place.
